What is Business Growth?
Improving one or more areas of knowledge, health, or meaning, of the people in a business, in order to improve the culture, strategy, and operations of the business.
Business growth looks different for each business as their circumstances are different. However, there are some basic principles that govern all businesses, especially around culture, strategy, and finances. You can grow a business by just meeting a need or adding value that people are willing to pay for. However, that will not grow the business near as much as taking some time to research and plan.
What is a Business Growth Plan?
Recorded information about a situation and a business desire, including actions necessary to achieve the desire. More commonly referred to as a business plan.
There are many people who have been successful in business without a plan. This often requires a good amount of knowledge of a situation and a good relational network. However, taking time to research and plan will provide helpful knowledge, clarity, and focus. There are many great books where successful business people have shared their wisdom and “secrets.”
